How does working with an Expert Virtual Assistant instead of a part-time, full-time or temp employee help my business?
When you hire an Expert Virtual Assistant, you pay only for the work completed. An Expert Virtual Assistant handles your business remotely so there are no overhead costs, paid benefits, taxes, training or downtime like there would be if you hired an employee.
What services do you offer?
I offer email management, schedule and calendar management as well as project management to keep you at your peak level of productivity.
What is the best way to communicate with you?
Communicating with us is fast and easy. Email is usually the best way to submit requests. However, phone calls, Zoom calls, Slack, and other options may also be used. If it is a non-urgent issue then email is sufficient. If the matter is urgent or is time sensitive then a Slack message or phone call is acceptable during business hours.
When the need arises for a long conversation or when things are better-explained face to face we prefer to have that conversation through a Zoom video conference; this will allow for screen sharing if needed.
What is your turnaround time for responding to emails, phone calls and Slack messages?
We will respond within 24 hours. Please keep in mind that any communications sent after our business hours will be responded to on the following business day.
What hours are you available?
We work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Eastern Time Zone.
What security measures do you have in place?
Your information will always be secured. A Non-Disclosure clause is a standard part of every contract that we send out; regardless if the job requires you to disclose sensitive information or not. We are happy to sign a separate confidentiality agreement if that makes you more comfortable.
If part of our agreement requires me to log in to your accounts, we will use LastPass to ensure that all your password information is protected.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Invoices will be sent and paid through PayPal. There will be a link on the invoice that you will pay through.
NOTE: A PayPal account is NOT required to pay someone through PayPal.

- Payments can be tracked and confirmed through your credit card and bank
When are invoices sent and when is payment due?
Invoices are sent the first of each month for services provided in the previous month. Invoices are due upon receipt and are subject to late fees – with the exception of the first invoice.
Your first invoice requires a 50% deposit based on the expected scope of work to be performed. The balance is sent the first of the following month.
Payment for 50% of the previously agreed upon Project Rate must be received before work begins. The balance is due upon completion of the project prior to the final product being sent to you.
A late fee of 20% of the invoice total will be added to the balance due after the 5th of the month and will continue to accrue every week thereafter.
How is the time spent on my projects tracked?
We use a software program called Toggle for clocking in and out when working on projects. You will be billed only for the hours spent on your project; we clock out for any breaks or interruptions. At the end of every billing cycle, the time spent on your project will be reflected on your invoice.
How do I get my project and information to you?
We can communicate project information via Zoom, email, cloud-based storage (Google Drive or Dropbox), or “snail” mail. Your completed projects or tasks will be sent back through email, or cloud-based storage.
